The Small Business Administration (SBA) is a U.S. government agency designed to bolster and promote the economy by assisting small businesses with education, funding, resources, mentors and other tools to help establish and grow small businesses.
Service Core for Retired Executive (SCORE)
SCORE provides many great resources for small business owners, including counseling, mentors, webinars, interactive courses, business templates, and local workshops and resources.
U.S Chamber of Commerce
The U.S. Chamber of Commerce advocates for business-friendly policies, supports local chapters, and provides free virtual events, information guides, resources and networking opportunities for entrepreneurs.
National Association for the Self-Employed (NASE)
NASE helps business owners develop local and national connections. NASE represents companies with 10 employees or fewer. It has free resources for small business owners, including unlimited access to consultants for tax, retirement, finance, and operations questions. NASE also provides a member-only NASE Succeed Scholarship, helping entrepreneurs pay for training programs, business courses, and college.
IRS Small Business and Self-Employed Tax Center
IRS Small Business and Self-Employed Tax Center provides free resources for taxpayers who file Form 1040 or 1040-SR and small companies with assets under $10 million. It assists small businesses with: preparing taxes, filing and paying taxes, understanding the stages of owning a business, and online learning.
FDIC: Money Smart for Small Business
FDIC helps businesses boost their financial literacy with 13 modules for starting and managing a business. The materials and instructor-led curriculum were developed jointly by the Small Business Administration and Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC). The lessons consist of:
